Ex-BCCI Selector Kishan Rungta Passes Away At 88 Due To COVID

Former BCCI selector Kishan Rungta passed away at 88 on May 1 due to COVID-19. Rungta contracted the virus a week before his demise. He was admitted to a hospital in Jaipur. He served as a national selector from central zone in 1998 and played 59 first-class games between 1953 to 1970, scoring 2717 runs. The Rungta family has been well known in the Rajasthan cricket arena for almost five decades.
