Kolkata Metro Cancels Mandatory E-passes To Travel From January 18

The Kolkata Metro Authorities announced that from January 18 passengers would not require e-passes to commute. Earlier, the city's metro services resumed from September 14 following the COVID-19 propelled lockdown and mandated e-passes for boarding the metro trains. Cabinet Approves East-West Metro Corridor in Kolkata, New Schemes Announced
