Kolkata Civic Body Launches e-Meet Sessions To Solve Civic Issues
In order to solve civic issues during the pandemic, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has decided to launch e-meet services facility from June 9. Reportedly, under the programme, municipal commissioner Binod Kumar will virtually meet citizens twice a week, i.e, on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11AM to noon addressing issues including property tax, licenses and parking. Kolkata: KMC Allows To Book Vaccination Slots Via WhatsApp Chat Bots
The Kolkata Municipal Corporation on May 17 rolled out WhatsApp chatbots enabling people to book for the second COVID dose. Initially starting at the Bidhan Sishu Udyan, South City School and Roxy Cinema vaccination centers for the first phase, vaccination at other wards will be announced later. While bookings for May 18 will start from 10AM on May 17, users need to send ‘Hi’ on WhatsApp number 8335999000.
