Ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde has announced a waiver in the toll collection for two weeks. The toll waiver will reportedly be applicable on Mumbai-Goa, Mumbai-Bangalore and also on State Public Work Department roads. The move is expected to benefit a large number of people travelling from the Konkan region to Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg.
