In Uttar Pradesh's Kotwali, a 12-year-old boy died due to a celebratory firing during a marriage procession, on May 14. The incident occurred in the Naisarai locality, when a cousin of the bridegroom opened fire with a country-made firearm, injuring Ayan. Reportedly, Ayan was rushed to the hospital, but died on the way. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and a case has been registered against Kamran, the accused.
