KTR Demands MGNREGS Benefits For Urban Poor People, Writes To FM
Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao, on January 27, wrote to Union FM Nirmala Sitharaman, ahead of Union Budget 2022-2023. KTR urged Sitharaman to introduce MGNREGS scheme for urban-poor population. Highlighting the increasing population of rural people in urban region, due to absence of living, KTR said the scheme would help to reduce urban poverty, which is 31% of urban population (380 million) and could be 600 million, hy 2030.

Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao Tests COVID-19 Positive
Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) Working President and Telangana IT and Industries minister KT Rama Rao tested positive for COVID-19 on April 23. International Body Recognizes Hyderabad As The Only Indian 'Tree City'
