4 Labourers Died In Tragic Lift Collapse Mishap: Greater Noida
In a shocking incident that has come into light from Greater Noida, four labourers lost their lives in a tragic lift collapse mishap. The incident reportedly took place on Friday in an under-construction building of of Amrapali Group in the Bisrakh Kotwali area. The labourers were shifted to a nearby hospital immediately after the tragedy took place. However, they were declared dead at the hospital.

Explosion Reported At Cold Storage Unit In Meerut, Workers Trapped
In Uttar Pradesh's Meerut, an explosion of the compressor at cold storage was reported. In the incident which occurred on February 24 afternoon, 15 workers are suspected to be trapped under the lenter of the unit. The lenter plunged due to the jolt of the explosion and the pressure of the burst. There were over 25 workers in the unit, of which 12 are evacuated. A rescue operation is underway.

Gujarat: 7 Labourers Die After Centring Collapse, Mayor Assures Strict Action
In Ahmedabad, seven labourers were reported dead after a centring in the Navrangpora area collapsed. The incident happened on September 14 evening, following which the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation launched an investigation. Two Labourers Die After Boundary Wall Collapsed In Bhopal, MP
In Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal, two labourers died after the boundary wall of a nullah (drain) collapsed. As per the PTI, the police confirmed the incident on June 21, and said, "The bodies were taken out after an 11-hour effort by teams of NDRF, SDRF as well as civic and police personnel. A case has been registered and further probe is underway".

Odisha Couple Sales New Born For Rs 12,000, Police Launches Investigation
A couple in Odisha sold their newborn baby for Rs 12,000, on January 29. The couple, a resident of Jajpur district, allegedly sold their girl child to a relative, who happens to be childless. Notably, the couple is a daily wage laborer and unable to feed the family of six, as they already have three daughters. Meanwhile, the Jajpur DCPU Tapan Kumar Panda registered a case and is investigating the matter.

Delhi Constable Returns Bag With 1 Lakh To Labourer
While on duty, Delhi Police constable, Narendra Kumar found a bag containing Rs. 1 lakh cash and was safely returned to the owner, Vijay Kumar, the laborer had mistakenly left it at Shivaji Bridge railway platform. The constable enquired passengers at the station if the bag belonged to someone. However, Vijay returned to the station, and the bag was handed over to him.

4 Workers Die After Factory's Roof Collapses In Delhi
In a tragic incident, four people have been killed after a factory's roof had collapsed in New Delhi’s Khayala area on December 19. In addition to it, two people have been critically injured due to the accident. Police have confirmed that around six labourers, including three women, were in the building during the accident. Moreover, the cops have charged the factory's owner Mahendra Pal regarding the accident.
