Fully Deployed Army Force At LAC Is New Normal

After the constant tussle between India-China military, the fully deployed Indian and the Chinese army at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) is new normal. On March 18, Army General Manoj Pande said, "China had forwardly deployed 50,000 troops with heavy weaponry since the PLA transgressions in Galwan, Gogra-Hot Springs and Pangong-Tso on May 5, 2020. Similarly, Indian army is also deployed for the same to tackle the situation.

Indian Govt Offers 18 Light Combat Aircraft To Malaysia

The Indian Government has offered to sell 18 light-combat aircraft (LCA) named "Tejas" to Malaysia, confirmed the defence ministry on August 5. 13th Round Of Talks With China Doesn't Bear Fruit, Says Indian Army

Indian Army on October 11 said that the 13th round of talks with the Chinese Army didn't yield any good results to resolve the remaining issues along the LAC in Eastern Ladakh. Reportedly, India put the constructive suggestions in the meeting on October 10 but China neither agreed on them and nor provided any forward-looking proposals. However, India said China should take appropriate steps because it changed the status quo.

Indian Army Intercepts 200 Chinese Soldiers At Arunachal Pradesh Border

In a major transgression, 200 Chinese soldiers tried to trespass in Arunachal Pradesh but they were stopped by Indian troops close to the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the state. Reportedly, the incident occurred last week during a routine patrol close to LAC. However, the matter was resolved through the intervention of local commanders. PLA Troops Return To LAC At Gogra Post Friction Point

After a 15 month-long standoff, both Indian and Chinese troops have disengaged near Gogra Post in Eastern Ladakh, Patrolling Point 17A. This indicates that the PLA troop has returned to the Actual Line of Control. An understanding to call off the standoff at PP17A was reached during the July 31 Corps Commander talks. However, the other friction points at Hot Springs, Depsang Plains, and Demchok remain unresolved.
