Grammy Awards 2022 To Be Held In April; Trevor Noah To Host The Event

The 64th annual Grammy Awards will be held in Las Vegas. The ceremony has been scheduled at MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 3, hosted by Trevor Noah and organised by Recording Academy, CBS and CMT. Initially, the award ceremony was scheduled for March 14, in Los Angeles, but was postponed due to COVID-19 and its new variant Omicron surge in the United Nations. CBS will air the live ceremony.

OnePlus Confirms To Launch OnePlus 10 In Early Next Year

Pete Lau, Co-Founder, and CEO of OnePlus, announced that the company will launch OnePlus 10-series phones in January. Reportedly, the launch would take place in Las Vegas and it would be a physical event. The series is expected to feature Android 12-based OxygenOS 12, a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Besides, it may offer a 5,000mAh battery under the hood.

Michael Jordan's 1984 Nike Shoes Auctioned For $1,472,000

Michael Jordan's 37-year-old Nike Air Ships was auctioned by Sotheby's in Las Vegas. The pair of 1984 shoes were reported be bought at $1,472,000 by collector, Nick Fiorella on October 24. The red and white sneakers were used by Michael Jordan during his first ever season with the Chicago Bulls. Furthermore, the shoes gained popularity after Jordan started wearing it.

Pune-born Tanay Manjrekar Becomes First Indian To Ride A Hyperloop Pod

Pune-born engineer Tanay Manjrekar became the first Indian to ride in 'hyperloop' at a test conducted in Nevada, Las Vegas on November 10. Majrekar, an electronics specialist at Virgin Hyperloop, led the power and electronics systems team during the test run, and expressed he was honored to represent India. He also added that working on Hyperloop was his greatest aspiration and hoped to see progress in the Mumbai-Pune Hyperloop project.
