Salman Khan Receives Death Threats, Police Launches Investigation
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan received death threats and has filed an FIR with the Mumbai Police. Notably, the recent threat e-mail is being investigated by the police and is associated with the recent interview of don Lawrence Bishnoi, who said, his life's aim is to kill Salman Khan. Furthermore, Khan has been provided Y+ category security, with a beefed-up security force outside his residence in Mumbai.

He further stated that there is a “black sheep” in the police department. Three Arrested For Posing As Members Of Bishnoi Gang & Attempting To Extort Rs 30 Lakh From Businessman: Haryana
In Haryana’s Yamunanagar, three persons have been arrested for allegedly posing as members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and attempting to extort Rs 30 lakh from a businessman. According to the police, the victim, a businessman from Bilaspur, received a WhatsApp call from a “foreign number”. The businessman reportedly also received a threat letter to his residence, directing him to deliver the said amount at a certain location.

Sidhu Moose Wala Case: NIA Raids Multiple Places Of ‘Terror Gangs’
In the ongoing investigation of the Sidhu Moose Wala killing case, NIA has conducted raids at multiple locations of various “terror gangs”. The Agency carried out the search operation in coordination with local police personnel. The search has come after a probe has been launched against some terror gangs. Arrested gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has been sentenced to two-day police custody by a Faridkot court, on August 10. Reportedly, the remand is in the connection with extorting Rs 50 lakh from a cloth merchant. Notably, Faridkot police brought him from Moga, and seeked for his remand before the court. Gogi Gang Member Arrested After Encounter In Delhi
In New Delhi's Khatta area, one member of the notorious Gogi gang has been arrested following an encounter near Bhalswa Dairy, on August 1. The accused identified as Bhagwan Singh, is reportedly a sharpshooter of the Gogi gang and boxer gang. According to the police, the gang also used to work for Lawrence Bishnoi. The police stated that when asked to surrender, the accused opened fire, resulting in an encounter.

Sidhu Moose Wala Case: Encounter Breaks Out Between Punjab Police & Gangsters
Near Punjab's Amritsar, an encounter broke out between Punjab police officials and two unidentified assailants, on July 20. The assailants are reportedly suspects in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case. The encounter occurred after the Punjab Anti-Gangster Task Force tailed the two men in Bhakna village.
