Clear Credit Dues Of $1 Million In 6 Months, SC To SpiceJet
The Supreme Court allowed SpiceJet to pay Credit Suisse $1 million per month for six months, and $500,000 per month thereafter, to clear its dues to the global investment bank. On September 22, the Apex Court noted that SpiceJet is behind on monthly payments by $3 million. he Hon’ble Supreme Court has noted our compliance with its previous orders, agreeing with the proposal of paying in six months, said SpiceJet.

Will Not Interfere In Orders Of CWMA, Says SC In Tamil Nadu-Karnataka Water Issue
In the Cauvery river water dispute, the Supreme Court on September 21, refused to interfere with the order of Cauvery Water Management Authority (CWMA) to Karnataka on releasing 5,000 cusecs of water for now to Tamil Nadu.Tamil Nadu is saying they need 7200 cusecs, Karnataka is saying they can only give 2000 cusecs. We are not inclined to interfere. The Apex Court has asked the authority to meet every 15-days.

Rhea Chakraborty's Brother Showik Allowed To Travel Aborad: Bombay HC
The Bombay High Court on Friday allowed the temporary suspension of the Look Out Circular (LOC) against Rhea Chakraborty's brother, Showik Chakraborty. Rhea and her family have been declined of basic amenities like their passport which has resulted in loss of livelihood. Showik has been permitted to go to Australia for work on several conditions, that includes his parents submitting their passports to the authorities.

Relief To Ex Air India Pilot Arvind, Delhi HC Quashes FIR Against Him
The Delhi High Court has quashed an FIR against former Air India pilot Arvind Kathpalia for the alleged offences of violating aircraft rules, including evading a breath analyser test, and forgery, saying the allegations against him are wholly insufficient to make out a case against him. The high court said the petitioner, now retired, cannot be subjected to "double jeopardy, giving a relief to the pilot.

Children Born Out Of Void Marriages Entitled To Parents' Property: Supreme Court
The Supreme Court ruled that children born out of void or voidable marriages are entitled to get a share in the property of their parents. The ruling is applicable only to Hindu joint family properties governed by Hindu Mitakshara Law, the top court clarified. The verdict was given by a three-judge bench led by CJI DY Chandrachud in reference to a two-judge bench judgment in Revanasiddappa vs. Mallikarjun (2011)

Bihar Govt-Central Govt In Tug Of War Over Caste Survey Row, GoI Files Affidavit In SC
The centre's affidavit in the Supreme Court on the Bihar government's decision to conduct a caste survey, and its correction hours later, has "exposed the BJP" and its "motive to block the survey", the Opposition has alleged.
