Anti-Conversion Bill To Be Tabled In Karnataka Legislative Council

The anti-conversion bill will likely to be tabled by the Basavaraj Bommai-led government in the state Legislative Council on September 15. BJP MLC DS Arun said that he is expecting the support of Congress and JDS parties in passing the bill. Notably, the bill has been passed in the lower house, and is now waiting for approval in the upper house.

Word Of War Erupts Between Rabri Devi & Ashok Choudhary: Bihar

A word of war broke out between minister Ashok Choudhary and opposition leader Rabri Devi in the Bihar Legislative Council on March 17, as the latter called him "Satta ka Dalal." "The abuse I have been subjected to has hurt the entire Dalit and maha Dalit society from which I come," said Ashok Choudhary. Later, a verbal spat broke out between CM Nitish Kumar and Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha.
