Ladakhs' Only LPG Plant In India Operated Completely By Women

The only LPG plant in Ladakh which provides fuel to over 50,000 army troops is run by an all-women crew. Interestingly, the plant located near Leh delivers a major portion of 40% of its total refill to the Indian defence establishment. Moreover, the all-women crew having 12 members ensures all task from the production lines to managing the security. Notably, it is the only LPG unit in India which is operated completely by women.

Indian government writes letter to Twitter for mentioning Leh in China

India Rubbishes Twitter For Showing Leh As China's Part

After Twitter wrongly showed Leh as a part of China's territory, Indian government has objected against it strongly. The government has written a letter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and expressed its "disappointment and displeasure" against the "unlawful" act. A senior Indian official stated, "Any attempt by Twitter to disrespect sovereignty and integrity of India, which is also reflected by the maps, is totally unacceptable."

Army's Lt Col Bharat Pannu Cycles 472-km Road Journey In Record Time

Army officer Lt Col Bharat Pannu completed the 472-km long road-journey, from Leh to Manali, on a bicycle in the record time of 35 hours and 25 minutes. Pannu began his journey from Leh on October 10 morning. He used a thin-tyred racing 'road bike' for this expedition. Reportedly, the 37-year-old will be submitting his ride data to officials at Guinness World Records.

Kiren Rijiju Seems Confident About BJP's Win In Leh Council Elections

The sixth council election of the 30-member Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) of Leh will commence on October 22. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju exhibited confidence while campaigning for the BJP in the council elections of Leh.
