3 LeT Terrorists Killed In Encounter With Security Forces: Jammu & Kashmir
Three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in the Shopian district of Jammu & Kashmir, confirmed police on August 30. The encounter broke out after a search operation was launched on the basis of information about the presence of terrorists there. The slain terrorists were affiliated with proscribed terror outfit LeT, a police spokesman said, adding the search operation was in progress.

SC Upholds Karnataka HC's Punishment Awarded To 4 Persons For 'Terror Plotting'
The apex court of India confirmed the punishment awarded to four persons involved in a terror plot. The accused were convicted and awarded life sentence, following a 2005 shoot-out in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. In 2016, the Karnataka HC enhanced the sentence of seven-years imprisonment to life sentence. Reportedly, the shoot-out killing a professor, and left four other injured.

J&K Police Kills LeT Terrorist In Encounter, Posts On Twitter
In Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara region, the security forces killed two terrorists, in an encounter, on June 19. The J&K Police confirmed the deceased terrorist to be a part of the terror outfit, affiliated to Pakistan's Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). The police launched an operation on the instance of an arrested terrorist, Showket Ahmed Sheikh, in Lolab area of Kupwara in north Kashmir. They cordoned off the area, confirmed police on Twitter.

Two LeT Terrorists Killed In Encounter In Jammu & Kashmir
Two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces, on June 15, confirmed Jammu and Kashmir police. The encounter broke out in Kanjiular region of Shopian, after a search operation was launched in the area. IGP Vijay Kumar said, one of the deceased terrorist was Jan Mohammad Lone. In addition, the police recovered ammunitions and AK-47.

Over 100 Terrorists Eliminated Since Beginning Of 2022 In Kashmir, Say Officials
Officials from Jammu and Kashmir have reported that over 100 terrorists have been eliminated in counter terrorism operations since the beginning of 2022. Notably, during the same corresponding period in 2021, 50 terrorists including one foreigner were killed. This year, 100 terrorists Including 29 foreigners have been killed. Of this, 63 reportedly belonged to Lashkar-e-Taiba terror outfit and 24 to Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit.

2 LeT Terrorists Arrested In J&K's Baramulla; Arms & Ammunition Seized
In a joint operation in J&K's Baramulla, the Indian Army and J&K police arrested two terrorists from the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), on June 10.
