J&K Police Arrest 2 Hybrid Terrorists, Foil Plans To Attack Civilians

With the arrest of two hybrid terrorists from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and The Resistance Front in J&K's Sopore, police confirmed that their plan to carry out attack on civilians has been foiled. Police seized from the possession, two pistols and magazines each and five pistol rounds. The arrest was made after two suspicious persons were asked to stop, when they tried to flee the spot.

LeT Terrorist Killed In Encounter In Kulgam District: Jammu & Kashmir

In Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district, a Pakistani Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist and one more were killed in an encounter with security forces on May 8. The gunfight in the Cheyan Devsar area of the south Kashmir district broke out after security forces launched a cordon and search operation based on intelligence input.  The deceased militants were a Pakistani named Haider and another is identified as Shahbaz Shah.

LeT Associate Caught In Pulwama

An associate of terrorist organisation Lakshar-e-Taliba was nabbed by some security forces in Pulwama on 3rd May. He was allegedly trying to flee from a checkpoint in Pulwama's Rabitar village. Ammunition has been recovered from the vehicle that he had been driving. The man has been identified as Lateaf Ah Kambay, who lives in the Wakura village of the Ganderbal district.

4 Terrorist Including LeT Militant Killed In Jammu & Kashmir Encounter

A Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist named Yousoof Kantroo and four militants were killed in an encounter in the Baramulla district of Jammu & Kashmir.  The encounter broke out on April 21 after an intelligence input of terrorists' presence in the Malwah region, said police on April 22. Furthermore, an official also received minor injuries during the encounter. In addition, the police also recovered ammunition and cordoned off the area.

1 Newly Joined LeT Terrorist Arrested In J&K's Bandipora

In J&K's Bandipora, a person belonging to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit, was arrested, on April 18. The arrest was made in a joint cordon and search operation involving three Battalion CRPF officials and 14 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), reported, ANI.
