J&K LG Manoj Sinha Advices Devotees To Visit Amarnath Before August 5 Due To Bad Weather Forecast
Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and Chairman of the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board, advised all worshippers to visit the holy cave temple before August 5, noting unfavorable weather predicted. The Amarnath Yatra, which began on June 29, will come to an end on August 11, on the celebration of Raksha Bandhan. The Meteorological Department predicted the weather will worsen later.

Amit Shah Pays Tribute To Martyrs Of 2019 Pulwama Attack
Home Minister Amit Shah, who was on a four-day visit to Jammu & Kashmir along with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, laid a floral wreath at the memorial constructed for the victims of the 2019 Pulwama attack carried out by Jaish-e-Mohammad. The attack took place in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on an ongoing CRPF convoy. Days later India carried out an airstrike on Balakot terror training camp in Pakistan.
