Liger Box Office Collection Below Rs 50 Crores Making It Disastrous Tollywood Movie

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey starrer "Liger", released on August 25, has become one of the worst performed Tollywood movie in the box office. On its fourth day, August 29 "Liger" collected only Rs 5.5 crores, across the globe. Released in four different languages, helmed by Puri Jagannadh, the film couldn't even manage to cross Rs 50-crore mark, as it collected only Rs 43 crores, across globe.

Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Pandey's Liger Day 1 Collection, Unexpected

South Indian superstar Vijay Deverakonda and Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey's "Liger" hit theatres on August 25. On the day-1 of the Telugu and Hindi film, it fizzled out at the box-office, with Rs 20 to 25 crores in the south market. This is the third recent release which didn't go well at Box Office. Movies like "Laal Singh Chadha", and "Dobaara" also were major flops due to the boycott trend.
