Singapore Welcome's Lion Cub Simba Through Artificial Insemination
In a rare attempt, a lion cub was born via artificial insemination in Singapore. The newborn cub named after Disney’s character Simba was conceived with semen from an African lion in October. Reportedly, the cub’s father ‘Mufasa,’ also christened after Disney’s movie character, was ailing and died.
