SC Lists Manish Sisodia Interim Bail Plea Hearing On Sep 4
The Supreme Court deferred the hearing on the interim bail pleas of AAP leader Manish Sisodia in two Delhi excise policy cases on September 4. A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and SVN Bhatti perused the medical records of Sisodia's wife, and said she is "fairly stable" and, therefore, it will consider the interim bail pleas along with regular bail pleas in the cases.

Manish Sisodia Denied Bail Again In Liquor Policy Scam: Delhi
Once again AAP leader and former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has been denied bail in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. The Delhi HC reviewed the bail plea in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) case and rejected the petition, seeking bail. This is the fifth time, the court denied bail to Manish Sisodia, the prime accused in the Excise Policy Scam. He has been lodged in Tihar Jail.

Manish Sisodia Withdraws Interim Bail Plea Pending Before Court
The AAP leader and former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia withdrew his bail plea. Notably, the plea was pending before the Delhi HC. The decision to withdraw the interim bail plea was in connection with his regular bail plea in one of the cases he faces has been reserved. Sisodia, arrested in connection with 2021-22 excise policy case, filed pleas for six-week interim bail to look after his ailing wife.

CBI Searches Lockers Of Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia
Continuing with the Excise Policy Investigation, the CBI officials searched Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia's locker on August 30. The raids were conducted by a team of five CBI officials, who reached the PNB Bank Sector of IV Vasundhara in Ghaziabad. Amid the searces, a ruckus outside the bank occurred with media and supporters. The searches were conducted in the presence of Manish Sisodia and his wife.
