LJP Eyes Expansion; Calls To Contest All Seats In Bengal, Assam

Chirag Paswan led Lok Janshakti Party has announced to contest the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal and Assam. LJP’s Secretary-General Abdul Khaliq said that the decision had been taken after party leaders met to conclude that party’s presence had to be cemented to voice for marginalised communities. Bihar: Former RJD Leader Shakti Malik Shot Dead At His Residence

Former Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Shakti Malik was shot dead on October 4 at his residence in Bihar's Purnia district. According to police, three men allegedly entered the victim's home early in the morning and shot bullets in Shakti's head.
