Ramvilas Paswan: LJP Party President Chirag will Take Call on Alliance With NDA
Union Minister Ramvilas Paswan, on September 11, stated that his son and Lok Jana Shakthi Party President Chirag Paswan will take a call on alliance with NDA ahead of Bihar polls. Reportedly, LJP who is in National Democratic Alliance with BJP doesn't want to contest in Bihar elections with Janata Dal-United. Paswan said, "l am confident that Chirag will take the party and Bihar to new heights".

JP Nadda: Nitish Kumar to be the Chief Minister Candidate for Bihar Polls
BJP president JP Nadda on August 23 announced that Nitish Kumar will be the Chief Ministerial face of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. During the virtual meeting, he took a jibe at the opposition for being a "spent force", and asserted confidence in the alliance saying that the NDA will triumph in the polls. Bihar Assembly polls are due in October-November this year.
