No More Cross-Border Firings Along LoC: Armies Of India, Pakistan

Indian Army and Pakistani military have arrived at a mutual decision to stop cross-border firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. Reportedly, the decision has been taken to ease the living conditions of the civilians who have been the major sufferers of such clashes. More Than 80% Of Bunkers Constructed At LOC To Protect Civilians

150-metre-long Underground Tunnel Across LoC Found By BSF In J&K

The Border Security Forces (BSF) on January 23 located a 150-metre long underground tunnel across the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua. Reportedly, the tunnel was dug by Pakistan and is being used to "facilitate the infiltration of terrorists" in the valley. Notably, this is the second tunnel to be spotted by the BSF, after another 150-meter tunnel was located by forces in Bobiyaan Village.

India Retaliates At LoC; 5 Pakistan Soldiers Killed

In a retaliatory firing by the Indian Army, five Pakistani soldiers have been killed at LoC in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, on December 10. Besides, two have been injured. Initiated by Pakistan, the "unprovoked firing" targetted civilian facilities in the Mankote sector and damaged civilian properties. As per reports, the firing went on for more than two hours. No casualties have been reported from the Indian side.

2 Pakistani Girls Cross International Border, Enter Kashmir

Two teenage girls from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir unknowingly crossed the international border and entered into Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch sector during the wee hours of December 6. The Indian troops later identified the girls as Laiba and Sana Zabair, residents of Forward Kahuta tehsil of Pakistan. However, the soldiers at the Line of Control saved the girls and have initiated procedures for their repatriation to Pakistan.

Indian Army Shoots Down Pak's Quadcopter across LoC: Sources

Indian Army shot down a quadcopter belonging to the Pakistan troops, states reports. Reportedly, the action took place at around 8 am on October 24 along the Line of Control (LoC) in Karen Sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The quadcopter is said to have crossed LoC and seen flying over the Indian territory. Reports suggest that the quadcopter was a DJI Mavic 2 Pro model, manufactured by a Chinese company.
