Australia Imposes Lockdown On Unvaccinated COVID-19 Citizens

Australia on November 15, imposed a lockdown on its citizens who have not been vaccinated with COVID-19 jabs. According to reports, Europe is facing a rise in Corona Virus cases, with Germany considering tightening curbs in the city. Hence, the government aims to counter the infections to record levels fuelled by a full vaccination drive of up to 65 percent in the country.

India Reports 12,515 New Covid-19 Cases & 251 Deaths in last 24 hours

The Union Health Ministry on November 1 said India recorded 12,514 new covid cases and 251 deaths in the last 24 hours. India's Active Caseload stands at 1,58,817 which is said to be the lowest in 248 days. Reportedly, with the 12,718 new recoveries, the recovery rate reached 98.20%. However, of the total new cases and deaths, Kerala reported 7,167 new cases and 167 deaths.

Russia Imposes Partial 'Lockdown' In Moscow: Covid-19

Partial Lockdown has been imposed in Moscow, Russia with only essential shops such as pharmacies and supermarkets to be open. Food outlets have been ordered for only takeaways. Authorities in the national capital reported 1,159 deaths from COVID in the past 24 hours due to which the government has imposed such restrictions. Moreover, schools have been closed and workers have been instructed to work from home until further notice.

Romanian Govt Imposes New Restrictions As COVID Cases Surge

Kerala To Undergo Full Weekend Lockdown Amid Rise In Covid Cases

Kerala will go under complete weekend lockdown on July 31 and August 1 due to the concerning rise in Covid-19 cases in the state, the Kerala government said July 29. "The central government is sending a six-member team from the National Centre For Disease Control to Kerala," Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted. Meanwhile, India has reported 43,509 fresh cases and 640 deaths in the last 24 hours.

West Bengal Extends Lockdown; Govt Mandates E-Passes For Travelling

Amid the escalating cases of COVID-19, the West Bengal government has extended the lockdown till July 1. Earlier, the lockdown curfew was expected to be lifted by June 15. However, certain relaxations will be bestowed and e-passes will be required to travel. Besides, the sports activity will be resumed and educational institutions, gyms, beauty parlour, salons and cinema halls will remain closed.

Karnataka CM Yediyurappa Denies Any Decision On Lockdown Extension

Announcing the 'Baalaseva' scheme for the children who lost their parents to COVID-19, Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa denied any decisions on extending the ongoing lockdown in the state.
