Rajya Sabha Takes Up National Anti-Doping Bill
The National Anti-Doping Bill was introduced in Rajya Sabha on August 3, after being passed in Lok Sabha last week. The bill seeks to provide a statutory framework in the form of legislation, that bans doping in the sports industry. Kerala Records Highest Number Of Landslides In Last 7 Years: Govt
The Ministry of Earth and Science told Lok Sabha on July 27, that Kerala recorded the highest number of landslides in the country, in the last seven years. Out of the 3,782 major landslides that occurred in the country during the said period, 2,239 were recorded in Kerala. West Bengal recorded the second highest number of landslides in the said time, with 376 landslides.

During the Monsoon Parliament session, a discussion over pending family cases was held in the Lok Sabha. On July 26, Kaushalendra Kumar of Janata Dal-United said, over 11.4 lakh cases are pending in family courts in India, demanding their speedy settlement, under the Family Court Act. Delhi Police Has 12,000 Vacant Posts, Confirms Nityanand Rai In Lok Sabha
In Delhi Police, nearly 12,000 posts are lying vacant, informed Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai, confirmed to Lok Sabha. On July 26, Rai answered to the question of Delhi BJP MP Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma. As per shared information, of sanctioned 94,255 posts, only 82,264 posts were filled. The minister further informed that many welfares like loans for marriage, and higher education were given to police's families.

BJP MP Ravi Kishan, Father Of 4 Calls For Population Control In India
BJP MP Ravi Kishan calls for population control and said, he will introduce a private member's bill on population control in the Lok Sabha, which will resume on July 25.
