75 Mn Elderly People Face Chronic Disease, 24% Not Able To Move: Study
According to Longitudinal Ageing Study in India (LASI), 75 million people in 60+ age-group suffer from chronic disease. While total number includes physical and mental illness, nearly 35 million among these have multi-morbidities.
