Section 144 Imposed In UP's Mathura To Tackle Religious Violence

In Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district, section 144 has been been imposed on November 28. The announcement came after a right-wing group reportedly said they'll install an idol of Lord Krishna in the Shahi Eidgah on December 6. ''No one will be allowed to do any mischief,'' said Gaurav Grover, SSP. Notably, a local court is already listening to the petitions pertaining to the removal of the 17th-century mosque.

Meet Kerala's Muslim Woman Who Only Paints Lord Krishna Photos

Jasna Salim, a 28-year-old Muslim homemaker who only draws paintings of Lord Krishna with butter pot, gifted one of her paintings to Sree Krishna Swamy temple in Ulanadu in Kerala's Pathanamthitta district. Salim aka 'Kannaa' said she ''started painting Lord Krishna by mistake''. However, her husband helped her to pursue her passion. Salim said, she tried to ''paint various images'' but she's best at painting little Krishna.

A Delhi-based family has announced a cash prize of Rs 11,000 for anyone revealing the whereabouts of their Lord Krishna idol that went missing from Vrindavan's Banke Bihari temple. The family said their ‘Laddoo Gopal’ idol went missing after they took it for 'darshan' at Barsana temple on March 24. Besides, announcing the cash reward, the family also pasted the missing posters of the idol across Vrindavan.

PM Modi Will Be Worshipped Like Lord Ram, Krishna: Uttarakhand CM

The newly-appointed Uttarakhand CM, Tirath Singh Rawat, on March 15 said that PM Narendra Modi will be worshipped like Lord Ram and Lord Krishna in the future. CM Rawat went on to claim that Modi, for his works, will be regarded the same as Ram in Dwapar Yuga and Krishna in Treta Yuga. Reflecting on Modi's popularity, the 56-year-old CM asserted that today even the biggest leaders want a photograph with Modi.
