Illegal Cockfight: Rooster Tied With Blade On Its Leg Kills Owner

An organiser of an illegal cockfight in Telangana died on February 27 after a blade tied to his rooster's leg pierced into his groin. As per the police, the Lothunur village native died due to excess bleeding before receiving treatment. The police are currently searching for 15 other organisers who can face charges of manslaughter and illegal betting. Reportedly, cockfights are banned in Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
