Ambulance Driver Becomes Crorepati Overnight: West Bengal
Sheikh Heera, an ambulance driver in West Bengal, became "crorepati" overnight, after winning a lottery ticket in East Bardhaman. He purchased the ticket for Rs 270 and won a huge amount of Rs 1 crore. He will reportedly use the money for his sick mother's treatment. "I always used to dream of winning a jackpot one day. Finally, Lady Luck smiled at me!" said Sheikh Heera.

Maryland’s Uber Driver Wins $1,00,000 Lottery
An Uber driver from Maryland in the USA won a lottery of $1,00,000 (Rs 74 lakhs). The 69-year-old first bought a scratch-off ticket, through which he earned $10. Following which, he bought a bigger lottery scratch card, amounting $1000. Later, when he scratched this ticket, he had won $1,00,000 lottery amount.
