In a shocking incident, a Karnataka Man killed his daughter, for allegedly being in love with a Dalit man. The incident occurred in the Kolar district, in Karnataka when Krishna Murthy (46) murdered his daughter Keerthi. Upon hearing the death of Keerthy, her lover 24-year-old Gangadhar allegedly committed suicide. Furthermore, the police registered a case and arrested the accused Murthy. In addition, an investigation has been launched.

In Jharkhand’s Bokaro, a man has been brutally beaten to death over an alleged inter-community love affair, informed police on October 7. In northeast Delhi's Bhajanpura area, two men open fired, which left two persons injured, on May 4. The injured has been identified as Vishal and Gaurav. One of the suspects have been identified as Manish Dedha. Reportedly, Dedha had a dispute with Vishal over a love affair, which resulted in the murder attempt. Vishal and Gaurav sustained bullet injuries. Further investigation on the matter is awaited.

The Bihar police arrested three accused family members of Anshu Kumari involved in beheading her boyfriend, Prem Kumar. Anshu and Prem were in a relationship for five years, however, they were not accepted by former’s family members. Reportedly, Prem disappeared after meeting his girlfriend on August 3. After the complaint was lodged by Prem’s brother, police found the body of the victim in Gandak river on August 8.
