'Mother of Civil Right Movement' Lucille Bridges Dies at 86
Lucille Bridges, the woman who broke the glass ceiling in the US, passed away aged 86. Known as the 'Mother of Civil Right Movement', Lucille was the first to send her daughter Ruby Bridges to an all-white school after the order of desegregation in the New Orleans. Ruby said, "She helped alter the course of so many lives by setting me out on my path as a six-year-old little girl."
