Lucknow Shocker! 23 Year Old Student Killed In Gun Shot
In a shocking incident, a 23-year-old female B.Com (Honours) student identified as Nishta Tripathi of BBD University in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow, died due to a gunshot wound during a late night party in Dayal residency in Lucknow's Chinhat area in the wee hours (around 3.30 am) of Thursday, September 21. The girl had visited Dayal Residency in Lucknow's Chinhat locality as her friend Aaditya Pathak had called her.

Lucknow Court Sentences Gangster Abu Salem & Parvez Alam To 3-Years Imprisonment In Fake Passport Case
Gangster Abu Salem and his associate Mohammed Parvez Alam to three years in jail by a special court in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow on September 28, for alleged connection to a fake passport case. This has come following a case registered by the CBI in 1997. According to the complaint, following the 1993 Bombay bomb blast, Salem obtained a passport fraudulently with a view the flee the country.

Wall Collapse Incident Amid Rains Kill 13, UP CM Announces Ex-Gratia

Levana Hotel Fire Tragedy: UP Govt Fires 15 Persons From 5 Different Departments For Negligence
The state government of Uttar Pradesh has fired 15 persons from five different departments for their alleged negligence that led to the fire tragedy at a hotel in Lucknow. The departments which are held liable include Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), Lucknow Electricity Supply Administration (LESA), District Administration, Fire Services, Lucknow Municipal Corporate and Excise Department. Levana Hotel Ordered To Be Demolished After Fire Claimed Lives Of 4: Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, Levana Hotel which was ablaze a day ago, has been ordered to be sealed and demolished by the administration. “No copy of the approved map of the hotel was given to the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA),” said Roshan Jacob, Lucknow Commissioner. The incident which occurred on September 5, claimed the lives of four persons, and left 10 others injured.

Fire Breaks Out At Levana Hotel In Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow
In Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, a fire broke out at a hotel in Hazratganj area, on September 4. Soon after the incident, fire tenders rushed to Levana hotel, where the fire broke out, and efforts to rescue the trapped people and guests are underway. Earthquake Of 5.2 Magnitude Jolts North-Northeast Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh
An earthquake of 5.2 magnitude on the richter scale struck Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow in the early hours on August 20. The quake occurred at around 1:12 am, and had a depth of 82 km. On August 19, a mild earthquake of 3.6 magnitude on the richter scale hit Uttarakhand, which left tremors across the region. Meanwhile, another quake of 3.1 magnitude on the richter scale, hit J&K’s Hanley village.
