Breast Cancer Becomes Most Common Type Of Cancer, Warns WHO

Breast cancer has become the most deadly form of the disease killing thousands every year, stated WHO oncologist Andre Ilbawi. Andre also cited obesity as a common cause for breast cancer in women. Speaking ahead of the World Cancer Day on February 4, Andre expressed concerns that cancer might rise to about 30 million fresh cases per year in 2040. Around 19.3 million cases were reported globally in 2020.

Passive Smoking Also Causes Lung Cancer: Health Experts

Passive smoking increases the risk of lung cancer in non-smokers as well, according to health experts. US FDA Approves Oral Drug 'Gavreto' to Treat Lung Cancers

The lung cancer drug, Gavreto, on September 5 has passed the approval standards of the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).
