Veteran lyricist Maya Govind (82) passed away at her residence in Mumbai, due to a heart attack, on April 7. Veteran Malayalam Lyricist Bichu Thirumala Passes Away At 80
Veteran Malayalam lyricist Bichu Thirumala passed away on November 26 at the age of 80. Reportedly, he was undergoing treatment after suffering cardiac arrest. Thirumala was a prolific lyricist in Malyalam cinema and wrote more than 3000 film songs and devotional songs. Furthermore, he also won the Kerala State Film Award for the best lyricist for the film 'Thrishna' and 'Thenum Vayambum'.
