Madrid Woman Tries Indian Food For First Time; Her Reaction Says It All

A Content creator Fatima De Tetuan staying in Madrid, tried Indian food for the first time. Taking to Instagram, Fatima posted the video on her Instagram and captioned it, "I can’t believe I haven’t tried any foods in my 20 years of life?" The Madrid women ate Indian food in a restaurant named UdaiPur. She showed her chicken tikka masala with roti. The video has already gained 1.1 lakh likes.

Russia Defeats Croatia To Win Davis Cup After 15 Years

Russia's Daniil Medvedev defeated Croatia's Marin Cilic to win the Davis Cup in Madrid on December 6. Medvedev secured the match by 7-6 (7), 6-2 against Cilic. The win has come after 2006 when Russia won its first Davis Cup, reported PTI. ''I'm more happy for the team than for myself,'' said Medvedev. Earlier, Russia's Andrey Rublev also won against Croatia's Borna Gojo, giving Russia a lead.

Former Venezuelan Intelligence Officer Arrested Under Drug-Racket: Spain

Former Venezuelan intelligence officer Hugo Armando Carvajal Barrios aka 'El Pollo' was taken into police custody on September 9 for allegedly running a drug racket in Madrid. According to US Justice Department, the 61-year-old was also accused of involvement in narco-terrorism conspiracy and illegally carrying cocaine shipment from Venezuela to Mexico in April 2006. Barrios faced similar charges in SDNY 2019 and 2011.

Spain: New 'State Of Emergency' Declared To Contain COVID-19 Spread

To contain the coronavirus transmission, Spain's PM Pedro Sanchez on October 25 announced a new 'State of Emergency'. Under this, a night curfew will be imposed in all parts of the country except the Canary Island and just 6 persons will be allowed to meet. The PM is willing to extend this till May 2021. However, he will have to secure the Parliament's approval for extension after every 15 days.
