Sikkim's Lachung Received Earthquake Of 4.3 Magnitude

North Sikkim's Lachung received an earthquake of 4.3 magnitude on September 29 on the Ritcher scale around 9:04 AM. However, National Center for Seismology stated in a tweet that the earthquake's magnitude was 4.3 and the Location was 623 km in the north of Lachung, Sikkim. Moreover, Assam's Tezpur also received 3.2 magnitude earthquake strikes in the early hours of September 28.

Earthquake Of 4.6 Magnitude Hits Chamoli District: Uttarakhand

Earthquake hits Joshimath city in Chamoli District of Uttarakhand on Sept 11 at around 5:58 AM. The city was hit with a magnitude of 4.6 on Richter's scale, at a depth of 5km. According to the National Center of Seismology's report, the epicenter of the quake was located 31km southwest of Joshimath. However, India, Nepal & China were among the affected countries.

Earthquake Of Magnitude 3.4 Jolts Manipur's Bishnupur

In Manipur's Bishnupur district, an earthquake of magnitude 3.4 on the Richter scale strikes on the late evening of August 6, said National Center for Seismology. Reportedly, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 28 km and 20 km west-southwest of Bishnupur. However, no reports of casualties were reported so far. Earlier on August 2, a similar quake magnitude of 3.7 had hit Manipur's Moirang area.

Earthquake Of Magnitude 5.2 Hits Assam; Tremors In Meghalaya

An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 hits Assam's Goalpara, with tremors being felt in Meghalaya and northern parts of West Bengal on July 7 around 8:45 am. No casualties or damage to properties have been reported so far. Assam reported five events of tremors in the previous month, with its epicenter marked near Tezpur.

Magnitude Of 4.6 Earthquake Hits Ladakh, No Casualties Reported 

An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 has hit near Ladak's Leh in the morning of June 28. According to India's National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was 86 km east-northeast of Leh at a depth of 18 km from the surface. The tremor was felt at around 6 am, however, no casualties reported so far.

Maharashtra: 3.3 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Nagpur

Maharashtra's Nagpur experienced a mild earthquake of 3.3 magnitude at the early hours of October 27. However, no damage has been reported yet. The National Center of Seismology (NCS) informed that the earthquake occurred at around 4:10 AM at 96 km north-northeast of Nagpur. The NCS has further told that the depth of the earthquake was 15 km.

Manipur: Minor Earthquake Of 3.8 Magnitude Jolts Tamenglong District

Manipur's Tamenglong district on October 11 experienced a minor earthquake of 3.8 magnitude. According to the National Centre of Seismology (NCS), the earthquake occurred around 3:55 PM. With a depth of 52 Km, the epicentre of the earthquake was 28 Km west-southwest of Bishnupur. However, no damage of property or casualty has been reported due to the earthquake. The state had felt tremors on October 10 as well.
