Huma Qureshi Starrer Political Drama "Maharani" Trailer Released
The trailer of Huma Qureshi-starrer series "Maharani" was released on April 9. The political drama shows how Huma, the wife of the Bihar CM, takes on the mantle of CM after her CM husband is incapacitated. Based on political stage of Bihar, the series showcases CM disrupting the state’s political arena by announcing his wife as successor. Set to release on May 28, Maharani will stream on Sony Liv.

Huma Qureshi Bags Lead Role In Sony LIV's Web Series 'Maharani'
Actor Huma Qureshi has been roped in for Sony LIV's new web series, 'Maharani'. Produced by Subhash Kapoor, the political drama will be a serious social satire and will explore the political journey of Qureshi's character. The multi-season web-series will also launch debut director Karan Sharma and will begin shooting from December 2020 in Bhopal.
