Maratha Reservation Which Led To Violence In Maharashtra Is Old Demand
The demand for Maratha Reservation is long pending demand, that has led to raging violence across Maharashtra, saw a long legal battle with the Supreme Court in 2021, that resulted in the court calling the issue "unconstitutional". A curative petition mentioned before the bench of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud for urgent listing last month, is set to be heard in due course by the Supreme Court.

Eknath Shinde Govt Assures Reservation To Maratha Community In Maharashtra
The Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra Government said, they are working to give quota to the Maratha community and appealed to Manoj Jarange Patil to end his hunger strike. Reacting to CM’s appeal, Patil said he would like to hold a meeting the Maharashtra Government official, and following which he would end his fast. Maharashtra Govt To Buy AI Building To Extend Mantralaya
In a major update under the Eknath Shinde rule, the Maharashtra Government is planning to buy the iconic Air India (AI) building in Mumbai's Nariman point.
