The Mumbai Police on May 30 arrested Nagpur-based farmer Sagar Mandhre for making a threat call claiming of planting a bomb at the Maharashtra government secretariat. Upon interrogation, the farmer confessed to have planned the hoax to draw the administration's attention for compensation of the acquired land.
