Harshvardhan Joshi, a 25 year old mountaineer from Maharashtra climbed the Mount Everest after recovering from Covid-19. Joshi's Everest expedition was named SangHarsh, which was also planned keeping in mind the eco-friendly factors to keep the expedition sustainable and raise awareness regarding the same. Maha CM To Provide Financial Aid To Flood-Affected; Rs 16.50 crore Fund Released
Maharashtra Government, on September 04, announced the release of Rs 16.5 crore to help flood-affected people in Nagpur division. Maharashtra CMO tweeted, that the fund will be utilized to provide financial aid to repair houses and build shelters. Earlier, on August 30, State Disaster Rescue Force (SDRF) had rescued over 2,500 people from flood-affected regions of Nagpur. "Crops have been damaged to a large extent," Farmers reported.
