PM Modi Unveiled Statue Of Mahatma Gandhi In Japan's Hiroshima
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Japan to attend the G7 Summit, unveiled a statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Hiroshima today. Sharing a picture from the event on Twitter, PM Modi said that the bust of Mahatma Gandhi will take forward the idea of non-violence. "The Gandhian ideals of peace and harmony reverberate globally and give strength to millions," said PM Narendra Modi in a tweet in Japanese.

Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi reacted to the conviction in the 2019 Defamation Case. On March 23, Gandhi said, "My religion is based on truth and non-violence. Truth is my God, non-violence is the means to get it." The BJP MLA and former Gujarat minister Purnesh Modi filed a defamation case saying, "How come all thieves have the common surname, Modi?" In response to this, Gandhi was convicted for 2-years.

PM Modi's Birthday To Be Grand 15-Days Celebration: BJP General Secretary Arun Singh
The BJP will organise "unity in diversity" festivals, a blood donation drive and a cleanliness drive across the country as part of its fortnight-long "seva" campaign. Mahatma Gandhi Statue Vandalised In Canada's Toronto; Indian Govt Expresses Outrage
Mahatma Gandhi's statue situated in a temple in Canada's Toronto, was vandalised on July 13. The 20-feet statue is situated in a Vishnu temple in Greater Toronto Area's Richmond Hill.
