IPL: MS Dhoni Fined Rs 12 Lakh For Slow Over-Rate Against Delhi Capitals
Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been slapped with Rs 12-lakh fine for a slow over-rate against Delhi Capitals on April 10. Interestingly, this was the team's first offence under the Indian Premier League's Code of Conduct. CSK also suffered a seven-wicket defeat from Delhi Capitals in its IPL 2021 opener. The second match of the IPL 2021 between CSK and DC was played at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.

Dhoni's Tweet Thanking PM Becomes Most Retweeted In Indian Sports
According to Twitter India, MS Dhoni's tweet thanking PM Narendra Modi for his appreciation is the most retweeted tweet under Indian sports category for 2020. Reportedly, the tweet has been retweeted more than 73,500 times since August 20. In reply to PM Modi's tweet, Dhoni said, “An Artist, Soldier and Sportsperson what they crave for is appreciation". Earlier, MS Dhoni had announced his retirement on August 15.

Dhoni Creates Record Of Playing Most Matches In IPL
In the 14th match of IPL 2020, Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni broke another record. Playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Dhoni became the highest appearing player in the IPL history with 194 matches. He broke the record of 193 appearances that was earlier held by his teammate Suresh Raina.
