Iranian Medical Report Confirms Mahsa Amini's Death Due To Organ Failure

An Iranian medical report into the death of Mahsa Amini said she did not die due to her injury in the head or beatings but from multiple organ failures caused by cerebral hypoxia. On October 7, the media said, a medical report published on state television was from Iran's Forensic Organisation. "Mahsa Amini's death was not caused by blows to the head and vital organs and limbs of the body."

UN Condemns Mahsa Amini’s Death, Demands Accountability

United Nations experts have strongly condemned the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini. Mahsa Amini was allegedly killed in police custody in Iran for wearing an “improper hijab” and failing to comply with Iran’s strict rules on women’s dress. UN also said that the officials need to be held accountable for the death of Amini. “She is another victim of Iran’s sustained repression and systematic discrimination against women,” said experts.
