Malayalam Superstar Innocent passed away at 75, due to multiorgan failure, on March 26. Malayalam Actor Sreejith Ravi Granted Bail By Kerala HC In POCSO Case
Malayalam actor Sreejith Ravi who was accused in a POCSO case, has been granted bail by Kerala Hight Court, on July 15. Reportedly, Ravi was accused for his alleged act of indecent conducts towards two minor girls. The bail plea was filed in the Kerala HC after bail was denied to him in the Thrissur district court. Furthermore, his counsel has claimed that he's undergoing treatment for personality disorder.

Veteran Malayalam Actor VP Khalid Passes Away During Shoot: Kochi
Veteran Malayalam actor VP Khalid (70)passed away due to a cardiac arrest, on June 24. He was shooting for the directorial venture of Jude Antony when he suffered arrest and was rushed to hospital, where the doctors pronounced him dead. Highlighting Khalid's achievement, he was a popular stage actor with Alleppey Theatres and soon became a recognized actor in the TV and film industry, and is survived by three sons.

Malayalam Actor Vijay Babu Granted Anticipatory Bail In Rape Case
The Kerala High Court granted anticipatory bail to Malayalam movie producer and actor Vijay Babu in an alleged rape case. On June 22, the HC single-judge bench Bechu Kurian Thomas granted bail with conditions like, Babu needs to appear before the police from June 27 to July 3, shall not intermediate victim, not leave the state and furnish a bond of Rs 5 lakh with two securities.

Malayalam Actor Vijay Babu Denies Sexual Allegations, To File Defamation Suit
Malayalam actor-producer Vijay Babu will reportedly file a defamation case against the woman who made sexual allegations against him. In a Facebook live on April 27, Babu said that he is a victim who did not do anything wrong. He also said that the woman has made multiple allegations against him since 2018, and he would share all the 400 screenshots of the chat in front of the court.

Malayalam Actor Vijay Babu Alleged Of Sexual Assault, Case Registered
Malayalam actor-producer Vijay Babu allegedly assaulted a woman in Kochi, Kerala. The victim, who is from Kozhikode district said, Babu committed the crime more than once on the pretext of offering a film role, said Ernakulam South Police. The police have registered a case against the founder of Friday Film House production and launched an investigation. However, they are yet to arrest and interrogate Vijay Babu in the matter.
