Congress Leaders Suggest Not To Support AAP In Ordinance Row
Leaders of Punjab Congress unit met with Rahul Gandhi and President of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) to discuss the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ordinance issue. As per sources, the leaders of Punjab suggested not to extend support to the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP in the ordinance row. Notably, the Central Government has issued an ordinance to reverse the Supreme Court orders, allowing power to the AAP Government in administration.

Punjab Court Summons Mallikarjun Kharge In Defamation Case
A Punjab court on Monday summoned Congress party chief Mallikarjun Kharge in a Rs 100 cores defamation case over the party equating the banned Islamic outfit Popular Front of India (PFI) with the Bajrang Dal, the youth wing of the Sangh-affiliated Vishwa Hindu Parishad, in its Karnataka Assembly election manifesto. In this regard, a case was registered against the INC President. Hitesh Bharadwaj filed the case against Mallikarjun Kharge.

BJP Conspiring Murder Against AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge
The Congress released an audio clip of a purported conversation between Chittapur BJP candidate Manikanta Rathod and a BJP worker where the former is heard saying that he would "finish off" the Kharge family. Addressing the media, the Congress in the poll bound Karnataka said, the BJP has stoop too low and is now conspiring a murder plot against Kharge. Notably, Karnataka is set for assembly elections on May 10.
