Mamata Banerjee Slammed BJP Ahead of BLOC Opposition Meeting
The 26 participants of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance will meet in Mumbai on August 31, September 1. This third meeting of bloc, after Patna and Bengaluru is scheduled to strategies for the Lok Sabha election 2024. "Till now, only TWO meetings have been held in the past TWO months by the INDIA alliance. The meeting is said to be important, as it would define opposition's move.

BJP Fact Finding Committee Report On Poll Violence In WB, Says Democracy Ended
A fact finding committee of the BJP has came up with a report in the recent poll violence occurred in West Bengal. In the report submitted to the BJP National President JP Nadda, the committee said, "democracy ended in WB." On July 26, the fact finding committee slammed the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC) behind the erupted violence and said, "What is this happening Mamata ji? This is condemnable."

West Bengal: 5 Districts Conduct Re Polling For Panchayat Elections
After violent clashes and deaths, the Election Commission of India dismissed polling for Panchayat elections in five districts. On July 10, Purulia, Birbhum, Jalpaiguri, Nadia and South 24 Parganas are conducting re-elections. A total of 697 booths have been set up for the polling in West Bengal. The re-polling started around 7 am, and will continue till 6 pm. The decision was taken after 10 people died in election violence.

Mamata Banerjee Bans "The Kerala Story" Screening In WB
In a major setback for the makers of "The Kerala Story", the West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee announced a ban on its screening in the State. WB CM To Meet Nitish Kumar And Discuss 2024 Elections

In another blame game, in the West Bengal Ram Navami violence, Mamata Banerjee said, the BJP hired goons to create ruckus in the state, disturbing the harmony during Ram Navami celebrations. In an interview, Banerjee said, "We don't riot and the common people don't riot. If BJP can't do it, they hire people to incite riots."
