IIT Bombay Imposed ₹10,000 Fine Against Protesting Students Over Veg Only Table
Students of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, raised issues in fooding and protested against the management. Notably, the IIIT students are protesting against 'Veg-Only designated tables, put by mess council in hostels of the campus and started a protest. The management imposed a fine of ₹10,000 on students and ordered an investigation into the mess veg only table matter.

Gangotri-Yamunotri Highway Blocked Amid Landslide
Due to landslides and falling debris, the Gangotri-Yamunotri highway was blocked in Uttarakhand. On July 26, the officials closed the roads and highways for the safety of people. who were travelling in the region. The authorities said, the debris and rocks are falling constantly and due to this, the roads are not operational. JCB machines and other clearing operations are underway, so that clearance works are underway.

CAT 2020: Major Changes in Exam Pattern; Duration Reduced to Two Hours
On September 16, IIM Indore announced major modifications in the exam pattern for the Common Admission Test (CAT), scheduled on November 29. The examination is to be conducted in three sets and the duration has been reduced to two hours. The registration date has been extended, till September 23. However, the candidates will be able to edit their registration form, even after the registration window is closed.
