BJP Releases Manifesto For 2023 Karnataka Elections
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its manifesto in poll-bound Karnataka. BJP chief JP Nadda unveiled the manifesto in the presence of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and party veteran BS Yeddyurappa at 11 am at the party headquarters in Bengaluru. Notably, the Karnataka elections are scheduled to be held in May 10. The major parties in the fray are the Indian National Congress (INC) and BJP.

Rahul Gandhi Promises Jobs If Congress Voted In Power: Karnataka
Rahul Gandhi pitched for the upcoming Karnataka elections and promised few welfares for the people. Unemployed graduates in Karnataka will be given Rs 3,000 per month for two years and diploma holders Rs 1,500 per month for the same duration, free-electricity, the government charges 40 per cent as commission from contractors, which will be stopped if the Indian National Congress voted in the power.

After a delay of two days, the BJP finally released the party manifesto for the UP Assembly elections, on February 8. BJP Delays UP Manifesto Release Amid Lata Mangeshkar's Demise
The BJP unit in Uttar Pradesh, on February 6, announced to postpone, manifesto release. The decision was taken in the view of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar's demise. Scheduled to release at 10:15 today, Amit Shah, Swatantra Dev, CM Yogi Adityanath announced to delay "Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra," the UP manifesto. BJP Likely To Release Manifesto On Feb 2: Uttarakhand Elections
Ahead of the Uttarakhand elections, BJP is likely to release its manifesto on February 2, said party sources on January 25. "BJP's manifesto for the Uttarakhand polls is likely to be released on February 2 in the presence of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari," read statement. The party has announced 59 candidates' names out of 70 seats. Notably, Uttarakhand Elections are scheduled for February 14.

Priyanka Gandhi Hints To Be Congress CM Face In UP
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, on January 21, hinted to be the "CM face" of the party in Uttar Pradesh. During the manifesto release for the UP Assembly elections, Gandhi said, "Do you see any other face?" She further added, "You can see my face everywhere". Her statement created speculations, however an official announcement for the CM face is awaited. Notably, Congres lost 2017 UP elections in Uttar Pradesh.
