Once again, a Delhi court extended judicial custody of former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. The AAP leader's custody with the ED has been extended till June 1. Sisodia is in judicial custody in the money laundering and Delhi Excise Policy scam, since March, with basic facilities like books, and others. Meanwhile, over the extension, Sisodia lashed out at the BJP Government and harassed innocent politicians who raises voice.

The CBI filed a chargesheet against Manish Sisodia, the former Deputy CM of Delhi. As per sources, the CBI filed a supplementary chargesheet against Sisodia and four others into the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. Notably, Manish Sisodia, a senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was named a prime accused into the liquor scam, and is in jail since March 2023. Furthermore, the CBI investigarion is underway.

In another drawback for AAP Government, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia's judicial custody has been extended till April 17. A Special Rouse Court in Delhi reviewed the plea of the CBI, seeking an extension in the judicial custody in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy Scam.  After hearing, the court extended Sisodia's remand till April 17. With this, Sisodia will be in Tihar Jail for another 2 weeks.

After the Delhi Rouse Court extended the judicial custody of Manish Sisodia, the former Deputy CM of Delhi, he asked for a few books. On March 22, Sisodia urged the court to allow him some spiritual and religious books to be taken into Tihar Jail. Notably, the request was made during the court proceedings in money laundering case registered by the ED. Sisodia will be in custody till April 4.

In a drawback to Manish Sisodia and AAP, a Delhi Court extended the ED custody of Sisodia to five days. On March 17, the Rouse Avenue Court extended the custody, after reviewing a petition filed by the ED, demanding an extension to further investigate the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. Notably, the ED arrested Manish Sisodia, the prime accused in the scam, on March 9. Investigation is underway.
