Shri Bhagavad Gita Park Opened In Canada’s Brampton City
The Brampton City Municipal Corporation in Canada has named a park by the name ‘Shri Bhagavad Gita Park’, which is spread over 3.75 acres of land. The park will reportedly have sculptures of Krishna and Arjun on a chariot, along with some other deities. Commenting on this, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that this park will become symbolic in further spreading the message of universal brotherhood love and harmony.

11-Year-Old Boy Suspected To Be Killed In Haryana’s Madrassa
A 11-year-old boy’s body was found in a Madrassa in Haryana’s Nuh, on September 6. The Madrassa is located near Mazar of Pir Dada Shah Chaukha, a village in Punhana’s sub-division. Following the incident, the Forensic Science Laboratory Division team reached the spot to investigate. A case of murder has been registered after the family of the deceased suspected foul play.

Sonali Phogat Death Case: Daughter Demands CBI Probe, Says ‘Not Satisfied With Current Probe’
BJP leader and actor Sonali Phogat’s daughter Yashodhara Phogat has demanded for a CBI investigation into the alleged murder case of her mother. She further stated that she and her family are not satisfied with the current probe conducted by the Goan police. She then stated that Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar had assured a CBI investigation into the matter. However, Yashodhara said that “no action has been taken yet”.

Punjab, Haryana CMs Receive VP Naidu At Chandigarh Airport
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar received Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu at the Chandigarh airport on 6th May. This comes just ahead of the 69th convocation of Panjab University. Naidu, who also serves as the Chancellor of the varsity, will be attending the event. Haryana CM Raises Chandigarh Issue, Moves Resolution
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar moved a resolution in the Haryana State Assembly session on April 5. The resolution was in regard to the construction of the Sutlej-Yamuna Link Canal. In the moved resolution, the Haryana CM urged the BJP-led Central Government to ensure the construction of the canal. Furthermore, the resolution came after the Punjab CM moved a resolution, demanding Chandigarh into Punjab.

Centre To Begin Paddy Purchase In Punjab and Haryana From Oct 3
Centre, on October 2, decided to start procurement in Punjab and Haryana from October 3. Haryana CM Manohar Lal said, “at many places, protests have been organised demanding early procurement. I hope that the farmers will now stop their protest”. Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi also said the Centre has allowed the State to start paddy procurement from October 3.
