Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has launched India's first-ever air taxi service under the Centre’s UDAN scheme. The newly inaugurated air taxi service would traverse between Chandigarh and Hisar at a fixed fare of Rs 1,755. Haryana Achieves Sex-Ratio Target Of 2020, Sets Bigger Target For 2021

Haryana has achieved its 2020’s target of sex-ratio at birth (SRB) despite COVID-19 challenges. Assisted by 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' programme, the state SRB for 2020 stood at 922 female births per 1000 males. While the 2014 figure recorded a SRB of 914, statistics of 2019 improved to record 923, decade highest for Haryana. Calling it an outstanding achievement, CM Manohar Lal Khattar has set a target of 935+ SRB for 2021.

Haryana CM's Meeting At Karnal Called Off Due To Protesting Farmers

Haryana CM Launches Fresh Attacks On Punjab CM Over Farmers' Issue

The ongoing spat between Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar and his Punjab counterpart Amarinder Singh has indicated no halt yet. Khattar on November 29 said, "If any dangerous situation arises due to coronavirus, Punjab government will be responsible for it." Haryana Eases Ban On Firecrackers, Allows Bursting For 2 Hours

Taking a roll back from its two-day old order, Haryana's BJP-led government on November 8 diluted the blanket ban on sale of firecrackers in the state. Under the revised decision, the government has allowed people to burst crackers for two hours. The government said the restrictions have been imposed under the NGT guidelines to curb air pollution. Earlier, the government had imposed a total ban on firecrackers citing COVID-19 scare.
